Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies may be used on the Wayne Francis website.

Last updated: 13 October 2026.

This policy describes the current interim website. We will update it if analytics, advertising, booking tools, video embeds or other third-party services are added.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files placed on your device by websites. They can help a site work, remember choices, protect forms, understand usage or load third-party services.

Current cookie position

The current site uses WordPress.com and Jetpack features to host and display pages. Platform cookies or similar technologies may be used for security, logged-in sessions and basic site operation.

No separate advertising pixels or marketing tracking have been intentionally added to this interim page. WordPress.com may load platform scripts, including statistics functions. We are reviewing their cookie and consent behaviour.

Types of cookies that may be used

Essential cookies

These are needed for the site to work, keep it secure, load pages, manage sessions and protect forms. They do not usually require consent, but they should still be explained clearly.

Functional cookies

These may remember preferences such as cookie notice choices.

Analytics cookies

These would help understand how visitors use the site. They should only be enabled where the correct privacy and consent setup is in place.

Marketing cookies

These would support advertising, retargeting or marketing measurement. They are not part of the current interim page and should not be enabled without a prior-consent setup.

Cookie choices

Non-essential cookies or similar technologies require a suitable consent choice before use. We are checking the current WordPress.com and Jetpack behaviour against that requirement.

If you have questions about a cookie or want to discuss your choices, contact us using the email address below.

How to control cookies

You can usually control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
