This page reflects the current WordPress draft build. It should be reviewed again before launch if analytics, advertising, embedded booking tools, payment tools, video embeds, CRM integrations or email marketing tools are added.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files placed on your device by websites. They can help a site work, remember choices, protect forms, understand usage or load third-party services.

Current cookie position

The current draft site uses WordPress.com and Jetpack features to host the site, display pages, support the Website Review form and show a cookie consent notice. Essential cookies may be required for security, logged-in sessions, form protection and basic site operation.

At this stage, no separate analytics or marketing tracking has been intentionally configured by Wayne Francis on the draft site. If analytics, advertising pixels, embedded marketing tools or similar tracking tools are added later, they must be reviewed and blocked until consent where required by UK GDPR and PECR.

Types of cookies that may be used

Essential cookies

These are needed for the site to work, keep it secure, load pages, manage sessions and protect forms. They do not usually require consent, but they should still be explained clearly.

Functional cookies

These may remember preferences such as cookie notice choices.

Analytics cookies

These would help understand how visitors use the site. They should only be enabled where the correct privacy and consent setup is in place.

Marketing cookies

These would support advertising, retargeting or marketing measurement. They are not part of the current draft build and should not be enabled without a prior-consent setup.

Cookie consent notice

The site includes a Jetpack cookie consent notice. The notice should be tested again before launch, especially after the final domain, WordPress plan, plugins and any analytics or marketing tools are confirmed.

Because the site is still on the WordPress.com draft/free-plan setup, final cookie behaviour should be tested again as a fresh visitor after the site is launched publicly and any plan, plugin or domain changes are complete.

How to control cookies

You can usually control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
